We hope many of you are planning to come to this weekend’s Bluebell Walk at Highwood, Kilmacolm! The woods will be open from 10am til 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday (15th/16th May) and signs will be put up from the war memorial on Lochwinnoch Road, just as you leave Kilmacolm.

Please follow the directions below for Highwood:

Leave Kilmacolm on the Lochwinnoch Road.  Continue for two miles, then take a right turn onto the road signposted Killochries.

At the road end turn right.  Continue for 1/4 mile passing Newton Stables on your left.

You will then reach a very sharp 90 degree left hand bend – the road to Highwood is on the bend on the right.

We look forward to seeing you!

If you are in London on 14th May, make sure you don’t miss what promises to be a great night with your friends and will also be helping our upcoming Alalay Project in Bolivia!

Supporting the street children of Bolivia with new skills, new hopes and new horizons.

This is your chance to escape the city to discover with us the stunning South Wales coast and spend quality time with friends old and new whilst raising some well-needed funds for Orkidstudio’s ‘The Alalay Project’ near La Paz, Bolivia. The charity will be building classrooms and workshops for two sites which help hundreds of street children and young people suffering from domestic or social abuse.

On Sat 12th June we will be setting out from Llantwit Major to Barry (11miles) finishing with a barbeque on Barry beach.  Easy transport links and a shorter alternative route for families.

Our aim is to raise £1000 but we need your help! Gather friends, family, colleagues and classmates for this amazing day out!

To sign up for the walk just e-mail us at: reachus@orkidstudio.co.uk and we’ll send you a Walk Pack with sponsorship form, posters and essential information (please specify no. of walkers and if you prefer us to post it to you).  Registration fee – £5 (or £10 including original Orkidstudio designed T-shirt).

Join us in making the most of the Welsh sunshine!
